As the incumbent County Commissioner for District 1, Alaina brings lived experience, deep community roots, and a proven record of fighting for Clayton County residents. She bought her first home in Morrow in 2018, and has never looked back.
Her path to public service spans economic development work in Jacksonville, Florida, years as a community organizer advocating for voting rights, and leadership roles with the Clayton County Democratic Party. In 2020, she made history as the youngest Democrat elected to represent Georgia on the Democratic National Committee.
Clayton County has extraordinary assets — the world's busiest airport, a state university, and three major interstates — but Alaina knows potential alone isn't enough. She's focused on improving zoning, expanding housing, and delivering real results for the people of District 1.
